I want to give a shout out to Pupusas Express, I received their menu yesterday and today I had to give them a try. Amazing chicken tamales, sweet corn tamales (tamal de elote) best pupusas ever, even Amanda Nova who isn't a fan of pupusas loved them. We also had atol de elote a sweet corn hit drink and horchata a cold rice and cinnamon drink, the staff is very friendly and you can call and offer ahead.They have an extensive menu with an American section, I can't wait to try some other dishes.

The food is delicious, authentic, hand made (so expect to wait a bit). Fresh horchata, too. The restaurant is more like an eatery, nothing fancy. Amazing prices. Really sweet owners/staff. One of my favorite places to eat in Annandale!

We were looking for a sushi place and missed the turn, so pulled into the parking lot to turn around...then saw Pupusas Express and thought why not? And boy are we glad we did. The place didn't look like much, but it was spotless (including the bathrooms), and the guy behind the counter taking orders was super friendly and super patient (one of us is vegetarian, and he took the time to tell what was OK and what wasn't and adjusted one of the dishes to it remained vegetarian). We got the flan and it was amazing. We are for our appetizer! We wanted more, but the Pupusas came delivered to our table. The guy came by to make sure everything was OK. Can't wait to go back here...don't miss it if you're in the mood for pupusas!

Absolutely DELISH pupusa revuelta and pupusa de loroco. For only 3 each, two of these are enough to fill me up. They also come with a little slaw and sauce on the side. Also tried the tamale de pollo and it was moist and flavorful. The store itself had some seating but smelled kind of funky. So would recommend taking the food to go. This is a must stop by kinda place. Grab some pupusas and have no regrets!!!

I ordered the fajita and it’s very tasty and authentic! I love the variety of meat in the fajita and how it was seasoned. I also enjoyed the warm corn drink and it was pretty good. My server was incredibly friendly and attentive, overall great dining experience!

We haven't tried anything besides pupusaa, but they are good. Take a while to make, but you can call ahead. Their juices are great and the staff is very friendly. The only disrespectful thing is the fact that if you go into dine in you have to wait very long time and while you do, you see many people just coming in and picking up food because they ordered online. You do not as a sitting guess take precedent over the online orders. Super mega lento.

oh my GOD this is the best hole in the wall pupuseria EVER!!! I got 2 pupusas con frijoles and 1 con queso. I also got passion fruit juice (it tastes like the nectar of the gods)!!!!! Amazing service from the staff, too! 3

My God I love it!! The food here is delicious and the portions and size is good. The drinks are great too so refreshing. I recommend this place to anyone. The service from the staff is amazing too.
